 Family  owned business founded in 1980 by Robert (Bob) Cowan Jr. then taken  over by son Bob (Skip) Cowan III.  R.H. Cowan Company has always prided  itself on superior customer service and customer relationships.  We have  continued to grow and in 2012, we moved to a larger warehouse in the  Beech Grove area of Indianapolis. 

Job Description:

Service and install automotive equipment. Must have a mechanical background and have experience with hand tools. The ideal candidate would have the mindset of quality workmanship, accountable, and reliable. Be able to diagnosis problem and repair in a timely matter. Communicate with customers and co-workers on repairs and quotes needed. We understand that this is a very specialized field and will train qualified candidates on the various equipment that we would expect them to work with.

Position Summary:

Arrive on time for a full-time position and be ready to work. A typical work day runs from 7:30am-5:30pm with an hour lunch break. Good communication skills and a clean/valid Driver’s License. Exhibit a strong attention to detail, be quality conscious at all times and maintain a safe working environment.

Responsibilities:

The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

· Work independently as well as in a team atmosphere with minimal supervision

· Performing accurate repairs and installs on products

· Providing assistance to other employees or customers as needed

Required Position Qualifications:

The following skills and qualification are required for this position:

· Education - Must have a high school diploma or G.E.D

· Lifting Requirements – Must be able to lift 75lbs

· Ability to pass the required drug test (applicable in US)

Preferred Position Qualifications:

The following skills and qualifications are preferred for this position:

· Some electrical background

· Knowledge of general use of power tools and hand tools.
